I was really blessed to have joined Brother Bo Sanchez‘s “How to be Truly Rich Seminar” recently in CAP Complex Theater, Jones Ave. Cebu City, Philippines last June 4, 2011.  Not only I did I feel that I deserved to be Truly Rich, but at the same time was re-invigorated to pursue my hopes and dreams for the Greater Glory of God!

Let me first thank my good friend Jan Mckingley Hilado for giving me the heads up on this opportunity.

First off, Bro. Bo Sanchez was talking about his personal journey and story. Then he shared from his experience the Three Reasons Why People are Poor:

• Beacuse they don’t want to be rich (Subconsciously)
• Beacuse the’re financially stupid (Don’t just have the determination to say it, but also learn what needs to be learned)
• Because they don’t ride vehicles to wealth

Now before he continued on, he shared his Philosophy that we should never forget (Even if we forget all of what he was talking about during the seminar):

“The single most important purpose to be truly rich is to Love others.”

The Eight Secrets of the Truly Rich:

1: Be Responsible for your Financial Success – You are where you are because you put yourself there, so start creating your future now!

2: Enlarge your Pyschological Wallet – Increase your money comfort zone; Unless you see it in your mind, it won’t happen in reality; and your self image will attract your level of success

3: Get Rid of Crazy Religious Beliefs – Don’t romanticize poverty; The rich can enter heaven, it’s about detaching oneself from money/wealth and don’t expect God to do what he expects you to do.

4: Be totally committed to your dreams – Be a scriptwriter of your life and write your dreams~and pray for them daily

5: Raise your Financial I.Q. – Avoid Bad Debt, Protect yourself, Learn, Re-learn and learn some more!

6: Ride Something to Wealth – Ride as many vehicles as you can (income streams)

7: Have a Bias for Action – Make things happen and Fail your way to Success

8: Be a Success in All Areas – Follow your inner compass, Define your own success, you need to give before you can receive (You reap what you sow)

Well I can’t really put it in all in one blog post so I will be writing more about these later here and also in my personal blog =) I will definitely seize the day more for we only have one life to live! Invest in yourself, it’s cheaper, faster than waiting for nothing!
