Entrepreneur PH Networking Night in Cebu
Entrepreneur PH Magazine has recently conducted its first-ever Networking Night in Cebu! Entrepreneur PH Networking Night in Cebu was definitely a success together with its awesome speakers! Entrepreneur PH Networking Night in Cebu happened last June 17, 2011 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Cebu, being an Emerging Business Capital has worked its way to becoming a business capital in the visayas, & now Cebu is poised to advanced to greater heights and reach nationwide! We heard Inspiring Success Stories from Cebuano entrepreneurs and learn their struggles on how they started their businesses and how we can learn from them which may lead to our own success!
It was a night filled with learning and networking. This positive vibe will encourage more entrepreneurs-to-be, students and professionals to go for their dream businesses!
For the speakers, I was able to listen to Rey Calooy of RNC Marketing, Joseph Gandionco of Julie’s Bakeshop, Jay Aldeguer of Islands Souvenirs, and Manny Osmeña of Manny O Wines.
I have had listened to Jay Aldeguer twice before, but as for the rest of the speakers, it was my 1st time listening to them. Networking is also an integral part for investing in oneself, your business, and for your related ventures.
Aside from the speakers, it was good to meet professionals as well during the event for it was of course networking night! I have been networking consistently for about a year now and it really does pay off, got 2 of my clients through it! It just takes you a whole lot of PERSISTance (As the common message from all 4 speakers as well):
P-Patience is developed~ Business is never about easy money and it’s never easy.
E-Endurance is enhanced~ Whenever you are able to get passed a obstacle, you are more prepared for future challenges.
R-Respect is earned when you persist
S-Soft hearts are produced out of hearts of stone~ Even the most stubborn customer will succumb and buy from you if you persist.
I-Inspiration is dispensed~ Persistence inspires others, and because of that, their lives inspire us.
S-Solid Focus is attained~ It is difficult to persist if your focus is scattered. Do things one at a time, in small actionable steps if possible; as they say, slowly but surely.
T-Trust is won~ Who will you trust? The one who gives up easily or the one who persists despite overwhelming odds?
